Dr. Robyn Stevens

About Dr. Robyn

Dr. Robyn Stevens is a talented vocalist, pianist, and director with over three decades of teaching experience. She has worked with students of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to providing access to quality music education to everyone.

Dr. Robyn holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Maryland, a Master of Music in Voice Performance from the Peabody Conservatory, and a Bachelor of Music in Voice and Opera Performance from the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music. She has won numerous awards and competitions, including being a finalist in the Friederich Schorr Vocal Competition and winning the Montpellier Recitalist Competition.

In addition to teaching with us, Dr. Robyn has worked as an adjunct voice faculty member at the Peabody Institute and the Community Colleges of Baltimore County. She has also taught at The Musical Theater Center in Rockville, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian College, and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Dr. Robyn served as the Music Director of Chestnut Grove Presbyterian Church and is a Founder and Artistic Director for The Baltimore Vocal Arts Foundation, Inc.

Dr. Robyn believes that music education is a right for all members of a civilized society and is committed to excellence in music education. She is passionate about sharing her love of music with her students and helping them develop their own musical abilities to their fullest potential.
