About Ms. Troia

“It is easy to say that music runs through my veins.”

Troia is a classical pianist who believes that the art of expression can be found in all genres. Her creative and positive attitude speaks volumes through her music, and the desire to share and teach this ability has been her goal for over 34 years.

Hailing from Detroit, Michigan, Troia pursued her music education at the Interlochen International Arts Academy for four years, as well as the illustrious Howard University in Washington, DC. After graduating from Howard, her music endeavors reached from performing at the Kennedy Center of Arts with Placido Domingo, to performing for President Barack Obama during his first inauguration.

Troia credits her family for not only surrounding her with music but embracing the freedom of artistic expression. She firmly believes there is no limitation in learning, and no better way to express yourself than through art, regardless of age. She lists Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Beethoven as some of the Classical Geniuses that changed the art of expression through classical music. She hopes to continue to share this gift and to become a part of your musical journey!
