About Ms. Courtney

Courtney Daley earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Washington Adventist University and an Associate's degree in Violin Performance at Montgomery College. Before deciding to study music, Courtney earned degrees in History and Documentary Filmmaking. Courtney has performed with the New England Youth Ensemble of Washington Adventist University around the east coast and outside the country. Courtney has been teaching violin since 2013 privately and in the classroom setting using Suzuki and traditional teaching methods.

Courtney has worked as a music teacher and arts administrator for several schools and organizations, including Levine Music, BSO’s OrcKids, and Norwood school.

Courtney’s approach to teaching is for each student to become a lifelong music appreciator and someone who can use the transferable skills that musicians use (discipline, problem-solving, and teamwork) in other areas of their life.
