Chad McCall

About Mr. Chad

Chad is a skilled music educator and performer with a passion for sharing his love of music with students of all ages. He began studying piano at a young age before transitioning to clarinet in middle school, and he has been an active performer in his community for many years.

Chad began teaching while receiving his AA in Music, and went on to study Music Education and clarinet performance at the University of North Texas. After moving to the Washington, DC area, he worked with youths at the Sitar Arts Center before joining the staff at the Richardson School of Music in 2019. In addition to his work at the Richardson School, Chad taught classroom recorder as part of the Sitar Arts Center aftercare program in partnership with S'Cool Sounds in 2019 and 2020. He was appointed as the Richardson School of Music Office Manager in June 2022.

Chad has a special interest in working with children with ADHD, recognizing the potential benefits of music in helping children with ADHD to focus and develop their abilities. He believes in learning music as a part of becoming a well-rounded individual and is committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment for his students.

Whether they're a beginner or an experienced musician, Chad is dedicated to helping students achieve their musical goals. He believes that learning music should be a fun and rewarding experience, and he works closely with each student to develop a personalized approach that meets their unique needs and interests.
