Mariana Amorim was born in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From a very early age she was involved in music activities at school and in her local church. She had several opportunities to help the community through music ministry. During her childhood years she was interested in music hence she started taking music lessons and then decided to pursue her career in the same path.
Mariana was accepted into UNIRIO, one of the most prestigious music universities in Brazil. She studied Music Education and developed research in the area of music for infants and children. After 4 years Mariana came to the United States to study music at Washington Adventist University, where she is currently completing her bachelors degree in Music and Arts as a piano Performer.
Mariana is a caring and professional music teacher with over 5 years of experience as a
Pre-Kindergarten to 5th-Grade teacher. She is a versatile piano teacher who is attentive and sensitive to the needs of each student. Specialized in catering to the needs for the young new students, she is also experienced with students with special needs and does research in the area as well.
