Arely Reyes

Arely's Bio

 

Arely Reyes is a native of San Diego, California, who earned her B.M. in Music Education from Washington Adventist University, in Takoma Park, MD. She focused on vocal studies under the tutelage of pedagogue Dr. Deborah Thurlow.

 

At her Alma Mater, Arely participated in several ensembles, including the Columbia Collegiate Chorale and Pro Musica. As a result, she had the opportunity to share the gift of music while traveling to South Africa, Australia, Bermuda, and across the United States. Recently Arely performed at the world-renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City, as a choir member under the conductor and composer John Rutter, and as a guest percussionist for the New England Symphonic Ensemble.

Arely enjoys introducing music as a means of expression and creativity, while instilling a life-long love for the arts to all her students. Currently, she is the Office Manager and fellow voice and piano teacher at the Richardson School of Music.
